  • Our Mission

Our educators are all qualified and responsive individuals that are dedicated to supporting the individual learning, development, health and well-being of the children in our program. Educators focus on active learning, exploration, play and inquiry. We encourage children to express and communicate in a variety of ways; thus, we provide a multilingual program for the children.

At NUF house our curriculum complies with the Ministry of Education’s outline and our pedagogical values. Our lessons are based on :

    • How Does Learning Happen? Ontario’s Pedagogy in the Early Years
    • Early Learning for Every Child Today
    • Think, Feel, Act: Lessons from Research About Young Children
  • Our Principles

NUF House believes that communication is the key to all interactions and connections; as a result, we have developed a communication system that ensures that parent-educator contact is reliable and efficient.
Our curriculum is theme-based in accordance with the children’s interest, with a combination of teacher lead and play-based activities. In order to ensure our highest level of quality and education is being put out, educators conduct regular observations and assessments of lessons, individual growth and progress and a classroom’s entire development. The purpose of these assessments is to allow for a better understanding of learning opportunities that can be implemented to ensure the classroom arrangements and activities are safe, age appropriate, engaging and fun. Our learning approaches certify that children are acquiring a sense of belonging, well-being, and emotional health.
